are great ways to find out what’ s happening in early childhood education in your community.
Attending conferences is another way to grow your professional community. While these can be expensive, there are ways to attend affordably: Your employer may be willing to help offset some costs. Many conferences offer discounts to groups, for early registration, or for individuals involved with conference planning. For example, NAEYC members who review conference proposals receive a discount on registration.
I now work in leadership at a much larger program and experience less burnout than earlier in my career. I attribute that to the community I have built.
